-2 cups of freshly grated coconut -1 cup of jaggery -1/3 cup of water/ coconut water -2-3 tbsp of ghee -5-6 cashews -5-6 raisins -Pinch of elaichi powder

Break open a coconut and remove the shavings.

Then, add the grated coconut, jaggery and coconut water into a blender and blitz to a smooth paste.

Then, head ghee in a pan and roast the dry fruits and keep it aside.

Add the blitzed coconut mixture to the pan of ghee and stir till it turns dark brown.

Finally, add the dry fruits and a little cardamom powder to the halwa and mix well. Your Coconut Halwa is ready!
