1 small ghiya/ lauki 1 cup of curd 1 medium onion (finely chopped) 10-12 curry leaves 1 tsp of cumin seeds 1 tsp of mustard seeds 2 dried red chillies Salt to taste 1 tsp of turmeric powder 1 and 1/2 tsp of Kashmiri red chilli powder Oil/ Desi ghee

First, wash and peel the lauki or ghiya. And cut them into thin but medium round slices.

Sprinkle turmeric, red chilli and rub some oil evenly on the lauki pieces.

Roast the ghiya pieces on a pan with oil, until the pieces are well cooked and tender.

Switch off the flame and pour a cup of curd with salt on the cooked lauki pieces.

Prepare a tempering with whole spices, chopped onions and curry leaves. Add Kashmiri red chilli powder over it.
