It might be difficult at times to find tofu at nearby local stores. Well, you can easily make it at your home. Chef Neha Deepak Shah shared an easy-peasy recipe to make Burmese Tofu and it's a must-try.

Homemade Burmese Tofu

• 1 cup besan • 2.5 cups water • Turmeric powder • Salt

Ingredients

• Take a mixer grinder and blend besan, turmeric powder, salt, and water to get a smooth paste. Sieve it.

Step 1

• Pour it into a pan and then turn on the gas. Cook it on a low flame.

• Make sure to stir it constantly till the texture thickens and becomes dense.

Step 3

• Once done, spread the tofu base on a plate. Keep it aside to cool down for 25 to 30 minutes.

Step 4

After it sets to a desired tofu-like consistency, cut into cubes and cook scrumptious recipes with Burmese Tofu.
