Here Is Why Gujarati’s Relish Fafda Jalebi On Dussehra

Dussehra is celebrated as the event marking the victory of Lord Ram (good) over Ravana (evil). 

Gujaratis follow an age old tradition where every Dussehra they relish Fafda Jalebi.

It is believed that Lord Rama loved Jalebis and his disciple Lord Hanuman loved dishes made out of gram flour.

So to celebrate Lord Rama's victory, Gujaratis eat Jalebi and Fafda on Dusshera.
