Ingredients 

-4 sliced potatoes -2 tbsp of Mustard oil or any other neutral oil -1/4 tsp of asafoetida or hing -1 tsp of cumin seeds -1 tsp of fennel seeds -1 tsp of nigella seeds -1 tsp of turmeric powder -2 tbsp of coriander powder -1 tsp of Amchur powder -Fresh coriander -Salt to taste -Chilli powder (optional)

Step 1 

First heat a pan on medium heat and add oil.

Once the oil is hot, add hing and other whole spices.

Next, add thinly sliced potatoes and season with salt and turmeric. Keep stirring occasionally.

Then, add amchur powder and stir. Keep cooking till the potatoes are softened.
