Different types of moa are offered to Maa Lakshmi on the auspicious occasion of Kojagari Lakshmi Puja. You can make this sweet treat at home using puffed rice, popped rice, and flattened rice. Today we are sharing how to make moa using khoi (popped rice) at your home.

• Take a large kadhai, put it on the gas, and add a huge portion of jaggery. Add some water as well and let the jaggery melt and mix well with water. Make sure you cook everything on medium heat.

• Once the liquid mixture starts bubbling rapidly and becomes sticky enough to make moa, turn off the gas. Let it sit for at least half a minute and add popped rice to it.

• Make sure that you check the popped rice well and put out all the grains and dust before adding them to the jaggery mixture.

• Next, mix everything well for some time. Grease your hands with ghee and make balls out of the combination of khoi and jaggery.
