Idli Made With Vermicelli

Forget rice flour, we have a idli recipe made with vermicelli. Khaaja Sim Sim's lunch box recipe of Vermicelli Idlis is delicious.

Ingredients 

-1 onion -1 carrot -1-2 green chillies -Handful of fresh coriander - 1.5 cups of curd -1 sprig of curry leaves -1 tsp of salt - 3 cups of vermicelli -1 tbsp of cooking oil - 1/2 tsp of mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp of cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp of chana dal

Step 1 

First, add curd into a bowl and whisk it. Then, add grated carrot, chopped onions, chopped green chillies ad fresh coriander leaves and salt and mix well.

Add vermicelli into the bowl and mix well.

Step 2

Make a tempering of mustard seeds, cumin seeds and chana dal into the bowl and mix well.

Take spoonfuls of the batter and pour it into the idli steamer.
