Matar Kachoris For The Soul

Ingredients 

1 1/2 cup of maida Salt Ajwain 2 tbsp ghee Water as per requirement Filling 1 cup of fresh green peas (blended) Jeera powder Coarsely ground coriander & black pepper 2 tbsp of besan Ginger green chilli paste Turmeric powder Red chilli powder Aamchur Black salt Salt

Step 1 

Make a dough with maida, ajwain, salt, ghee and litte water and keep it aside.

Add the green peas into a blender and make a paste for the filling.

Step 2 

Then, roast the spices and spice powder in hot oil, then add the blended pea mixture,. besan and some salt. Your filling is ready.

Step 3

Roll the prepared dough, cold it into layers like a parcel and roll it again using a rolling pin.

Next, roll the dough balls with your hand to make small rolls and cut them into a half.

Step 5

Take each layered dough ball, roll it, stuff it with the pea filling and seal it. Do the same with all the layered dough balls.
