• Ghee • Cumin seeds • Cloves • Carrot • Cauliflower • Hare moong • Green chillies • Turmeric powder • Rice • Buttermilk • Water

• You need a pressure cooker to cook this yummy and healthy dish. Add ghee to a cooker and temper cumin seeds and cloves.

• Next, add carrot, cauliflower, overnight soaked hare moong, and green chillies.

• Sprinkle turmeric powder on all ingredients and add a portion of soaked rice.

• Mix all the ingredients gently and pour buttermilk into it. It enhances the taste of khichdi.

• Add some water and let everything boil till rice, dal, and veggies soften and get cooked well.
