If you are bored of eating the same basic plain dosas and masala dosas, it's time to add some spices. Here's a special recipe for Andhra-style Karam Dosa shared by Chef Aruna Vijay.

• 1/4 cup Bengal gram • 11 cloves of garlic • Salt • 1/2 cup onion • 6 dried red chillies • Regular dosa batter • Ghee

• Start by making podi by grinding roasted Bengal gram with 5 cloves of garlic and salt according to taste.

• Next, prepare the spicy red chutney. For this, blend onions, 6 cloves of garlic, salt, and dried red chillies in a mixer. Make sure to soak the chillies before mixing to a paste.

• While making dosa, the quantity of the batter should be more than a plain dosa as it needs to be a bit thicker.

• Pour some ghee, red chutney, and garlic podi on top, and serve hot.
