Luchi and Suji are offered to Maa Lakshmi on the auspicious occasion of Kojagari Lakshmi Puja. Here's how you can make these dishes easily at your home.

• Take a large mixing bowl and add 2 cups of flour, 1.5 tbsp oil, and a pinch of salt. Mix everything for about a minute until all the dry ingredients form a crumbly texture. • Next add some lukewarm water and start kneading it. Be very cautious while adding water as getting a soft texture is a must for fulko luchi. Let it sit for almost half an hour.

• Next, form small dough balls, press them well using your palms, and roll them by applying a bit of oil on the rolling board. • Fry all the flattened luchi dough in hot oil and maintain medium flame all throughout. • Press the luchi into the oil so that it becomes fulko (soft and fluffy). Fry both sides well.

• Take a kadhai and add 2-3 tbsp ghee to it. Let it heat up for a couple of minutes in low-medium heat. Next, add some ghee to it and let it roast. • Next, add some milk and sugar to it and cook everything well.

• Once the sugar melts and suji looks well cooked, add dry fruits such as cashew nuts and raisins. • Cook the suji for a few more minutes and turn off the stove.
