Do you fast during Shivratri? Devotees often eat vrat special Sabudana Ki Khichdi on this occasion. Here's a recipe to cook it at home.

• Start by rinsing sabudana properly and then soaking them for a few hours. You can even soak the pearls overnight.

• In the morning, strain the pearls well and make sure that there is no excess water.

• Now the main recipe for cooking the khichdi begins. Boil potatoes and then chop them into small pieces.

• Add ghee to a pan and fry some cumin seeds, chopped potatoes, and green chillies.

• Next add the boiled sabudana pearls and cook for a couple of minutes. • Lastly, add some roasted peanuts, saute everything for 1-2 minutes, and turn the gas off.
