Ingredients

- 2-3 medium onion (thinly sliced) - 6-7 jalapeños chillis - 1 cup of white vinegar - 1 cup of water - 2 bay leaves - Few pepper corns - 1 garlic clove (optional)

Step 1 

First, thinly slice the onions and cut the jalapenos into rings.

Next, take a small saucepan and add vinegar, water and a pinch of salt and sugar and keep stirring on medium heat.

Step 2

Then, take heatproof jars or a bowl and add the sliced onions and jalapenos into them separately.

Step 3

Add the bay leaf, cloves, crushed garlic cloves into the jars. Then, pour the hot pickling brine into the jars till the veggies are submerged.

Step 4

Let the mixture cool then cover and refrigerate for at least 1-2 hours or have it after 24 hours. Your Pickled Onions & Jalapeños are ready!
