Make Soft & Healthy Suji Bread In A Cooker With This Recipe

Did you know that you can make bread at home without an oven as well? 

Suji Bread In Cooker 

Well, baker Shivesh Bhatia shared a recipe for healthy and soft suji bread that he made in a pressure cooker and this recipe should be tried by everyone!

Ingredients

1+1/2 cup suji 1 tsp instant yeast 1 tbsp castor sugar 1/4 tsp salt 3 tbsp milk 1/2 cup water 2 tbsp oil 3 tbsp mixed seeds

Prepare The Batter

1. Take finely ground suji, yeast, sugar and salt in a bowl and give it a good mix. 2. Now add in water, milk, and oil and mix using a wooden spoon to form a batter. 3. Let the batter rest for 10 minutes.

Knead & Proof The Dough 

4. After that, transfer the dough onto a greased surface and knead it for around 15 minutes. 5. Once the dough is done, transfer it to a large bowl greased with oil. 6. Cover it with a cloth and let it proof for 1 hour in a dark warm place or until doubled in volume.

Follow These Steps 

7. Punch down the dough after the first proofing. 8. Roll out the dough into a rough rectangle of 1/2 inch thickness. Then starting from one shorter end, roll in the dough to form a log. Make sure to pinch and lock after every turn.

Proof The Dough Again 

9. Then, transfer it into a small loaf pan. Let it proof for another 30 minutes or doubled in volume.

Preheat The Cooker

10. Meanwhile take a cooker set over medium heat and spread a layer of salt in it. Place a stand in the middle and preheat for 10 minutes. 11. Once the dough has risen, brush milk and sprinkle mixed seeds on top.

Time To Bake

12. Now, bake the bread in the preheated cooker for 25 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
