1. Activate The Yeast

3. Knead The Dough

Mix until the dough comes together, then turn it out onto a floured surface. Knead for about 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic. Add more flour if the dough is too sticky.

4. First Rise

Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1-1.5 hours until doubled in size.

5. Preheat The Oven

Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C). If you have a baking stone or sheet, place it in the oven to heat up as well.

6. Divide And Shape The Dough

Punch down the dough and divide it into 8 equal portions. Shape each portion into a ball and flatten them slightly with your hands.
