Make This Dreamy Creamy Butter Garlic Eggs On Toast In Just 7 Easy Steps

Ingredients

-2 eggs beaten -2 slices of bread (sourdough preferably) -2-3 chopped garlic cloves -1-2 tbsp butter -1 tsp all purpose flour -1/3 cup milk -1/2 tsp chilli flakes -Salt as per taste -Parsley/coriander leaves/chives/dill leaves for garnish.

Step 1 

Heat up some butter in a pan over medium heat. Whisk two eggs in a bowl with a splash of milk or water. Season with salt and pepper.

Pour the egg mixture into the pan and let it cook for a few seconds. Then, gently scramble the eggs with a spatula until they are done.

Step 2 

Remove the cooked eggs from the pan and set them aside on a plate.

Step 3 

In the same pan, melt another knob of butter and saute some chopped garlic until fragrant.

Step 4 

Add a teaspoon of all-purpose flour to the pan and cook for a few seconds, stirring constantly. Gradually whisk in milk and bring to a simmer. Let the mixture simmer and thicken slightly.
