- 1/2 cup flax seeds/javas - 1 tosp sesame seeds - 6 red chillies - 1 tbsp roasted chana - 1/2 tbsp jeera - 4 thick or 8 thin cloves of garlic - 8 to 10 curry leaves - 2 tbsp dried grated coconut - salt - 1/2 tsp sugar - 1 lemon sized ball of tamarind

In a pan, dry roast flax seeds, red chillies, roasted chana dal, cumin seeds (jeera), black peppercorns, garlic cloves, curry leaves, and dried coconut over medium heat until they are aromatic.

Spread the roasted ingredients on a plate and allow them to cool completely before grinding.

Add salt, sugar, and tamarind, then grind everything to a coarse powder.
