100g of Almond meal 100g of Sugar 100g of Butter 1 egg 1 tsp of citrus zest 1/4 tsp of Orange blossom water (optional) Croissants (Homemade or store bought)

First, add sugar, melted butter and almond meal to a bowl.

Next, add an egg, lemon zest and give the ingredients a good mix.

Cut open a store bought or freshly made croissant in half.

Fill the croissant with the freshly made almond frangipane mix.

Add the almond mix on top of the croissant and garnish with almonds. Bake this at 180C for 15 minutes. Your Almond Croissant is ready.
