Before you start cooking, you need the following ingredients – Milk, Yeast, Sugar, Eggs, Butter, Salt & Vanilla Extract, Nutmeg, and Flour.

Combine all the items to knead a dough for 5-7 mins in a mixing bowl and let it rise.

Once risen, punch the dough to release air and roll it out into 1/2-inch thickness to cut them into circular shapes.

In a heavy-bottomed pot, heat vegetable oil (or oil of your choice) and bring it to 375°F (191°C). You can check with oil thermometer.

So, with 2 - 3 donuts at a time, cook them for 1 minute on each side. And when done, place them aside.

Combine confectioners’ sugar, sifted heavy cream, half-and-half, or whole milk, and pure vanilla extract.

Once this is whisked together, dip the warm donuts in the glaze to cover them with sweetness.
