Chef Guntas Sethi shared recipes to make Vrat Peanut Potato Pancakes and Tamarind Chutney at home and we are excited to cook these ASAP.

• 2 large potatoes • 1/4 cup coarsely ground peanut • 1 tbsp singhara atta • 1 tsp jeera • 2 tsp crushed black pepper • 1 tsp grated ginger • 1 tbsp chopped coriander leaves • 1 tsp chopped green chillies • Rock salt • Ghee • Coriander leaves. • 1/2 cup soaked tamarind • 1/2 cup soaked dates • 1/2 cup jaggery • 2 cups water • 2 tsp red chilli powder • 1 tsp jeera powder • Salt • 1 tsp chaat masala

• In the first step, dry roast some peanuts and ground them coarsely.

• Next, grate potatoes and wash them thoroughly. Take a mixing bowl and bind the grated potatoes with coarsely ground toasted peanut, grated ginger, chopped green chillies, chopped coriander leaves, singhara atta, crushed black pepper, rock salt, and jeera.

• Once done, shape them into small dough-sized balls.

• Heat some ghee in a pan and fry these potato pancakes. Cook both sides nicely.

• To make tamarind chutney, soak tamarind overnight. Next, strain the liquid and cook it adding red chilli powder, grated ginger, jeera powder, salt, chaat masala, soaked dates, jaggery, and water.
