She said that ghee is good for your health and adding at least a teaspoon of ghee in your lunch can help you beat the afternoon slump.

Add Chutneys To Your Lunch 

Rujuta Diwekar said adding any sort of chutney is another good addition to your meal to beat the afternoon slump.

She said it could be any kind of chutney one makes at home–coconut chutney, curry leaves chutney, lentil chutney, or flaxseed chutney.

Nap & Slump Aren’t Same!

Rujuta also added in the post that an afternoon slump is not the same as a nap. The slump refers to a low feeling that starts post-lunch and continues well up to late evening. She rather recommends taking a 15-20 min nap in the afternoon to feel fresh.
