1. Maharashtra

In coastal regions, people celebrate Naraali Purnima and worship the sea god by offering coconuts.

2. Odisha

In Odisha, this day is celebrated as Gamha purnima. They worship bullocks and cows on this day.

3. Gujarat

This part of India celebrates Pavritropana . On this day women visit Shiva tempples and offer water to Shivlinga.

Here on this day farmers worship their land. A special pooja is also performed.
