It's a historical hill town which stands as the doppelgänger for Dragonstone. Dragonstone is the ancestral Targaryen home shown in season 1. The hilltop, lush landscapes, cobblestone lanes and orange-coloured rooftops are the highlights of this town.

Recall The Vale of Arryn in season 1 of HOTD? The scenes were filmed in Derbyshire. GoT fans will recognise it as the House Arryn and the Eyrie.

A castle, Castillo de La Calahorra, is situated at the foot of the Sierra Nevada mountain. This is the seat of House Targaryen on House of the Dragon where the castle’s exterior is perfect to showcase a Renaissance-inspired house in Pentos.

This island has a beautiful castle which serves as the home of House Velaryon. In the story, it is located in the Driftmark in Blackwater Bay which is at the edge of Kings Landing. GoT fans remember the Battle of the Blackwater? It is the same location!

It is time to introduce you to the King’s Landing in HOTD! This location’s architectural style makes it perfect for the iconic King’s Landing in both its prequel and original series. However, in GoT, only the last two seasons showcased Cáceres as King’s Landing.
