Recipe: How To Make Kimchi At Home

Kimchi is a Korean dish made with cabbage.

It is the same as the Indian pickles.

Ingredients: cabbage, spring onions, garlic, ginger, soya sauce, sugar, white vinegar, chilli flakes and sesame oil

Start with chopping cabbage and place it in a bowl.

Add salt to the chopped cabbage, mix well and leave it for three to four hours.

After it softens, add all the ingredients except the oil.

Mix everything together and store it in a clean and sterilised jar.

Store the cabbage mix for twenty four hours before using it.
