In a small bowl, combine the yeast, sugar, and 2 tablespoons of warm water. Stir it thoroughly, cover the bowl with a lid, and set aside for 10 minutes.

Now, combine the flour, salt, and yeast-sugar mixture and knead the mixture into a soft dough using warm water. Once the dough has risen for 45 minutes, cover it with a damp muslin cloth and set it aside in a warm place.

Take a piece and spread it out into a long roll that is 10 inches each by gently rolling it out on the surface without adding any plain flour.

Arrange all of the rolled pieces onto a baking sheet covered with parchment paper.

For 25 minutes, bake them at 200°C (400°F) in a preheated oven.

Drizzle the remaining ½ tsp olive oil evenly over each breadstick.

After a little cooling period, serve or store in an airtight container. Use as the necessary bread sticks.
