Castor Sugar, Orange, Water, Oil, Dahi, Orange Juice, Cinnamon Powder, Cardamom Powder, Flour, Baking Powder, Baking Soda and Salt.

Take a pan with castor sugar and add water to it. Bring it to a gentle simmer.

Now, cut orange into slices and add them to the sugar syrup and boil for 10 minutes.

Cool these orange slices on a wire rack.

Now, take an orange, remove the zest and squeeze its juice. Keep them aside.

In a bowl, take oil, castor sugar, dahi, orange juice, orange zest, cinnamon powder, cardamom powder and whisk it well.

Now, take flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and add it to the wet mix. Fold the batter and make sure there are no lumps.

Now, take a cake tin, line it with baking paper, add a layer of candied orange slices and top it with the batter. Bake this in a pre-heated kadai for 30-35 minutes.
