Start by heating sugar in a heavy bottom pan on low heat until it is golden.

Once it is cool, pour the caramel into custard cups and let it set.

Now, take a large bowl and add eggs, milk, vanilla extract and sugar and beat it until it blends.

Pour this mixture in the same custard cups with caramel in it.

Then, place the cups in a pan with hot water.

Bake it at 350° for 45 minutes or until the knife inserted comes out clean.

Once baked, let the custard cool. Then, unmould it and invert on the dessert plate.
You can serve this delicious dessert warm or cold!
