Recipe: Quick & Easy Way To Make Siddu, The Pahadi Delicacy, At Home

Ingredients

Wheat Flour, Sugar, Salt, Ghee, Instant Yeast, Lukewarm Water, Soaked Urad Dal, Ginger, Green Chilli, Red Chilli Powder, Haldi, Coriander Powder, Coriander Leaves And Hing.

Step 1

Start by mixing wheat flour, sugar, salt yeast, ghee and lukewarm water and knead a dough.

Step 2

Cover the dough and rest it for an hour and knead it again.

Step 3

Take a mixer and blend soaked urad dal, red chilli powder, coriander powder, haldi, green chillies, ginger and hing.

Step 4

Take a dough ball and fill it with the dal filling.

Step 5

Steam these dough balls for around 15 to 18 minutes.

Step 6

Siddu, the Himalayan dumpling, is ready.

Step 7

Brush siddu with ghee and sprinkle red chilli powder on it.
