Satiate Your Monsoon Cravings With Chef Kunal Kapur's Delish Masala Pav; Recipe Inside

We often crave spicy and tangy dishes during the rainy evenings. For all the pav lovers out there, we have a special recommendation. Chef Kunal Kapur shared a recipe for finger-licking Masala Pav loaded with cheese. 

Yummy Masala Pav

• 2 tbsp butter • 1 tbsp oil • 1 tsp cumin • 2 tsp chopped garlic • 2 tsp chopped ginger • 1/2 cup chopped onions • 1 green chilli chopped • 1/2 cup chopped tomato • Salt • 1 tsp Kashmiri chilli powder • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder • 1 tbsp pav bhaji masala • 1/2 cup chopped capsicum • 1 sprig of curry leaves • Water • 6-8 pav bread pieces • Cheese • 2 tbsp melted butter • Chopped coriander leaves

• Add butter and oil to a pan and fry cumin, garlic, ginger, onions, green chilli, tomato, salt, Kashmiri chilli powder, turmeric powder, and pav bhaji masala. Cook for a few minutes and add capsicum, curry leaves, and water. Turn off the gas once all veggies are cooked and the stuffing is ready.

• Next, slice pav pieces in half, layer the freshly cooked stuffing, add grated cheese, and cover it with the top pav halves.

Step 2

• Take a small bowl and mix melted butter with coriander leaves. Use a brush to lather the pav with butter.

Step 3

• Next, place the pieces on a baking tray and put them inside an oven for 8 to 10 minutes at 180°C.
