It’s a historical event entrenched in the hearts of Saudis. On September 23, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia celebrates its 93rd Saudi National Day.

On this day in 1932, the Kingdom was born after the late Abdulaziz bin Abdul Rahman, famously called Ibn Saud, who was the visionary leader and founder of modern Saudi Arabia, issued a decree for unification.

Under the new decree issued by the visionary leader, there was a call for the unification of Najd and the Hejaz. With this, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia came to be, with Arabic as the national language.

This year, the celebrations, which will include a slew of festivities will be celebrated under the slogan of ‘We Dream and We Achieve’. And as evident, it marks significant milestones achieved by the nation in the past 9 decades.

The day is celebrated with a lot of pomp and show! From concerts to vibrant events and even fireworks shows, people get together to celebrate the spirit of the Kingdom that has stood tall against the sands of time.
