So, instead, you can try this recipe by baker Shivesh Bhatia and make your own cream cheese at home.
This recipe is easy, requires only 4 basic ingredients, and makes about 250 grams of cream cheese at home for just ₹130!
4 cups full-fat milk 1 cup fresh cream Pinch of salt 3 tbsp vinegar

1. Take 4 cups of milk in a saucepan and add 1 cup cream to it. 2. Heat till it becomes warm. 3. Now, add some salt and vinegar to it.
4. Once the milk and cream start to curdle and separate, take it off the heat. 5. Take a bowl and place a large sieve on it along with a muslin cloth. 6. Pour the mixture on it and let all the excess water drain out.
7. Take the collected cheese from the muslin cloth and place it in a blender jar. 8. Blend till you get a smooth texture.
9. Place it in a container and cling wrap it to prevent it from drying. 10. Refrigerate for about 30 minutes and your cream cheese is ready.
And that’s it, your homemade cream cheese is ready to be enjoyed!
