Making makhana chaat is a simple process and can be prepared in less than 20 minutes.

• Start by adding oil to a pan and saute makhana (fox nuts) for a few minutes.   • Once done, take out the fox nuts from the pan.

• Next, take some more oil and temper chaat masala, red chilli powder, and salt for 15 seconds. • Transfer the roasted makhana to the pan and toss for a couple of minutes.

• Lastly, take a bowl and add all the toasted makhana, chopped onion, chopped tomatoes, cucumber, coriander leaves, lime juice, and pomegranate seeds and mix well. You can even garnish Makhana Chaat with some sev.
