For the cream cheese filling: • ½ cup softened cream cheese • 2 tbsp powdered sugar • ½ tsp vanilla extract For the cookie dough: • 1½ cups all-purpose flour • 2 tbsp cocoa powder • ½ tsp baking powder • ¼ tsp baking soda • ¼ tsp salt • ½ cup softened butter • ½ cup powdered sugar • 2 tbsp unsweetened yoghurt • 2 tbsp milk • 1 tsp vanilla extract • 1 tsp red food colouring (gel or liquid)

• Whisk cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract to get a smooth filling. Once done, pour it into a piping bag and refrigerate it.

• To make cookie dough, mix flour, baking soda, baking powder, cocoa powder, and salt. In a separate bowl, whisk powdered sugar and softened butter. Once the mixture turns fluffy, add milk, yoghurt, vanilla extract, and red food colouring and mix everything perfectly once again.

• Next, mix both the butter mixture and dry flour mixture gently for a soft dough.

• Take a small portion of the dough, flatten using your palm, and stuff each piece with the cream cheese filling. Seal the cookies completely and form flattened ball shapes.

• Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 180°C. Also, line a baking tray using parchment paper. Bake them for at least 15 minutes.
