The estimated budget of the Surat-Chennai Expressway is about ₹45,000 to ₹50,000 crores.

Soon to become India's second-longest expressway, the overall duration will decrease by half. Right now, it takes about 35 hours to complete the journey. However, it will take only about 18 hours on this road.

Connecting Surat and Chennai, it will cover Gujarat, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, and lastly Tamil Nadu.
