Boil and mash 500g potatoes. Allow to cool.

Step 1

Mix in 50g finely chopped onions, 2 chopped green chillies, 2 tbsp chopped coriander, 1 tsp garam masala, and salt to taste.

Shape the mixture into round, flat patties about 5cm in diameter.

Coat each patty in breadcrumbs.

Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.

Fry the patties for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.
