Shape the mixture into round, flat patties about 5cm in diameter.

Coat each patty in breadcrumbs.
Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.

Fry the patties for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.

Drain on kitchen paper and serve hot with mint chutney, imli chutney, yoghurt and sev.
