1. With Food, Especially Protein 

Tea or coffee must not be consumed with food especially protein. This makes it difficult for the body to absorb protein.

2. Immediately Post Meal 

Avoid having tea one hour after a meal or even before a meal. This can cause issues with iron absorption.

3. Post 4 PM 

Avoid drinking coffee anytime after 4 PM. As per the doctor coffee or tea should not be consumed 10 hours before sleep.

4. On Empty Stomach 

Do not drink chai or coffee first thing in the morning on an empty stomach.
