Shivangi's Chutney Recipe 

Shivangi Dubey shared a recipe for Chikmagalur Chutney. This is a special chutney from a region in Karnataka that is known for its coffee estates and chilly weather.

Ingredients 

-Oil -Chana dal -Urad dal -Coriander seeds -Jeera -Sesame Seeds -Garlic cloves - Green Chillies -Tomato -Mint leaves -Coconut pieces -Salt -Tamarind -Mustard seeds -Curry leaves -Hing

Step 1 

First, add oil into a kadai. When the oil heats, add urad dal,chana dal, jeera, sesame seeds and coriander seeds and roast well.

Then, add chillies, tomato, garlic cloves and keep frying for a few minutes.

Next, add coconut pieces, tamarind and give it a good mix.

Once the mixture cools down, grind it to form a coarse paste. Adjust the consistency with a little water.

Finally, add a tadka of mustard seeds, curry leaves and hing. Your Chikmaglur Chutney is ready! Enjoy with dosa or idli.
