Shivesh took to Instagram to share a recipe for Custard Jelly Cooler which you simply cannot miss this summer. So, to help you with that, we have given a complete breakdown of it for you to replicate at home.
1/2 cup sago pearls 1 tbsp basil seeds 3/4th cup water 1/2 box of strawberry jelly 1/2 box of orange jelly 3 cups milk 1/2 cup sugar 1+ 1/2 tbsp custard powder
1. To begin with, get store-bought jellies of your choice and follow the instructions on the back of the pack to make them. 2. Once set, cut them into cubes to use for the recipe.
3. Soak the basil seeds in 3/4 cup of water until they swell up. 4. Also, soak the sago pearls overnight and boil them till they become translucent. 5. In the meantime, put some milk in a saucepan, add milk, sugar, and custard powder to it, and cook until it starts to simmer.
6. Let the milk mix cool completely and it’s time to assemble the drink. 7. In a jar, take some crushed ice and top it with basil seeds, jelly cubes, sago pearls, and cooled milk.
