Kadipata Chutney For You

Akshada Desai Lobo has a delicious Kadipata Chutney which you must get your hands on!

Ingredients

- 2 cups of kadipatta/curry leaves (packed) - 1 tbsp of oil - 1/4 cup of roasted chana dal - 1/4 cup of peanuts - 2 tbsp of sesame seeds - 2 tbsp of grated dry coconut - 8 red chillies - 6 to 8 cloves of garlic - small marble sized ball of tamarind - salt

Step 1 

Separate the curry leaves from the stems. Wash and dry the leaves.

Then. roast the dried red chillies, channa dal and sesame seeds in oil.  Then, add dried coconut, garlic and jeera. Add some tamarind and salt and keep it aside to cool.

Step 2

In the same pot, roast your curry leaves.

Step 3

Wait till the ingredients cool down and grind them into a coarse powder.
