This Ramadan, make Date and Walnur Cake for iftar, a no-maida and no-refined sugar recipe by Masterchef Kriti Dhiman.

25-30 pitted dates 1.5 cups of hot milk 1 cup of wholewheat 1/2 cup of neutral oil 1/2 tsp of baking powder 1 tsp of baking soda 1/2 cup of walnuts (chopped)

First, soak pitted dates in hot milk.

Then, blend this into a puree.

Next, add any neutral oil, baking soda, whole wheat flour, baking powder and baking soda. Mix it well.

Grease a baking tin and spread the mixture evenly in it. Top it with walnuts.

Bake it at 180 C for 30-35 mins. Let it cool and then enjoy your Dates and Walnut Cake.
