Too Busy To Cook Morning Tiffin? Ranveer Brar Shares A Tomato Pasta Recipe Made In Cooker

Have you ever thought of cooking tomato pasta in a pressure cooker? This process takes less time than making pasta following the usual steps. Here's an innovative recipe by Chef Ranveer Brar.

• 2 tbsp oil • 1 inch ginger • 2-3 garlic cloves • 1 medium onion • 2½ tbsp butter • Salt • 1½ cups tomato puree • 1 tbsp red chili powder • 2 tsp coriander powder • ½ tsp sugar • ½ cup sweet corn kernels • 1 medium tomato • 2 cups water • 1 tbsp coriander stem • 1 tsp oregano • ½ tsp chilli flakes • 2 cups penne pasta • ¼ cup tomato ketchup • 2-4 tbsp olive oil • 2-3 basil leaves, roughly torn • Cheese

Ingredients

• Start by chopping coriander stems, onions, ginger, and garlic. Take a pan, add butter, and saute chopped ginger and garlic.

• Add chopped onions and fry for a couple of minutes. Next, add butter and tomato puree and cook for some time.

• Add red chili powder and coriander powder and continue cooking till you see an oil layer on the pasta sauce. Then, sprinkle sugar if you do not like the tangy taste of tomatoes.

• In the next step, add chopped tomatoes, corn kernels, water, oregano, chilli flakes, and penne pasta. Let all ingredients cook till you get a whistle.

• To enhance pasta's taste, add tomato ketchup, basil leaves, and olive oil to a small bowl.

• Mix well and drizzle on top of the freshly cooked tomato pasta.

Step 6

Grate cheese on your plate and serve mouth-watering tomato pasta on top. Lastly, garnish with more cheese, oregano, and basil leaves and savour the deliciousness.
