Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport is reporting a major surge in international footfall. The numbers have increased to a huge extent in comparison to the last fiscal year.

Airports Authority of India revealed that the passenger footfall of international travellers from the Ahmedabad airport witnessed a spike of 125 per cent in the span of 2022-23, according to a report by The Times of India.

In the fiscal year 2022-23, about 13.4 passengers crossed the international airport.

In between the extreme rise of flight tickets, the footfall increased more than twice the previous numbers.
