Chef Sanjeev Kapoor shared the recipe for Bihar’s famous Paneer Khurma and you can bring it together with just a handful of ingredients!
1 cup sugar Water 2-5 green cardamom 200g paneer 8-10 saffron strands

1. In a pressure cooker, take 1 cup sugar with 2 1⁄2 cups water and 4-5 green cardamom and let it come to a boil. 2. Then, add small cubes of paneer to the pressure cooker and close the lid.
3. Cook on medium heat till one whistle is released. 4. After that, lower the heat and cook for one hour.
5. Take the cooker off the heat. 6. In the meantime, heat up a shallow pan and drain the liquid from the cooker into the pan. Also, add a few saffron strands to it.
7. Once the liquid in the pan begins to boil, add the paneer to it. 8. Let it cook till the sugar liquid thickens.
Allow the paneer to cool down and that’s it! Your delicious Paneer Khurma is ready to be served and enjoyed!
