Put some butter in a pan and sauté your favourite diced vegetables. Season them with salt, pepper, and oregano to taste.

In the middle of the pan, add some more butter and a spoonful of flour. Roast the mixture until it forms a roux, stirring frequently.

Pour some milk into the pan with the roux. Let it simmer, stirring occasionally, until the mixture thickens to your desired consistency.

Turn off the heat and mix in the cheese. Stir until the cheese is fully melted and integrated into the sauce. Let the mixture cool while you prepare the bread.

Take slices of bread and press the edges first and then the entire slice to make it thin.

Place the flattened slices in a muffin tray, folded into cup shapes. This will hold the filling.

Pour the cooled cheese mixture into each bread cup. Brush the edges of the bread with butter to prevent them from drying out. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for 15 minutes.
