What Is Sannata Raita?

Sannata Raita, is a yoghurt dise dish from Uttar Pradesh that is known to cool your body and quieten your heart and  tummy. Here's a recipe by Neha Deepak Shah.

Ingredients 

1/2 cup of Curd 2 cups of Water 1/2 tsp of Roasted Jeera powder 1/2 tsp of Red Chilli Powder Some Pink salt / kala namak 1 tsp of Chaat Masala 1/2 tsp of Dried pudina powder 1/4 cup of Boondi For Tadka - 2 tsp of Mustard Oil A Pinch of hing 1/2 tsp of Jeera

Step 1 

Ad a water to a bowl of curd.

Then, add all the spice powders in it.

Next, add boondi into this and mix well.

Make the tempering with mustard oil, cumin seeds and hing.

Step 4

Finish the raita with this tempering and sprinkle coriander and mint leaves. Your Sannata Raita is ready! Enjoy it cold!
