World Dosa Day: MasterChef India's Aruna Vijay Shares Instant Masala Dosa Recipe

This special day dedicated to the humble dosa is celebrated on March 3. On this day, Masterchef India finalist Aruna Vijay shared a recipe to cook Instant Masala Dosa.

Today Is World Dosa Day!

• To make a non-fermentation dosa batter, start by grinding Kashmiri red chilli, rice flour, raw potato pieces, garlic, curd, and salt.

What's The Recipe?

• To prepare the spicy potato filling, pour oil into a pan and add mustard seeds, green chilli, onion, boiled potato, coriander leaves, turmeric powder, and salt.

Follow These Steps:

• Cook all the ingredients properly till the filling is ready to be added to the dosa.

• Before frying the dosas, mix a pinch of baking soda with the batter and keep it aside for about 5 minutes.

• Next, add some butter or ghee to a pan, pour batter, spread it well, and add some butter or ghee for more crispiness. Then, add some spicy garlic chutney and aloo filling once the dosa is almost cooked.
