Japan Airlines has announced a schedule for the operation of flights between India and Japan in the month of August. According to a statement by the airline, flights JL030, JL039, JL754, and JL753 will operate between Japan and India from August 1 to 31. While these scheduled flights will operate under the air bubble arrangement, all other flights between the two countries will remain cancelled. Flights from Delhi to Haneda will operate on Wednesday and Saturday. From Haneda to Delhi, flights will be operational on Tuesday and Friday. Flights from Narita to Bengaluru will run on August 5, 12, 19, and 26. Flights from Bengaluru to Narita will run on August 7, 14, 21, and 28.

Vistara Launches Direct Flights Between Delhi And Tokyo
Gurgaon-based Indian full-service airline Vistara is starting direct flights from Delhi to Japan’s Tokyo from June 16, 2021. The price for an all-inclusive Delhi-Tokyo-Delhi trip will start at around ₹45,049. For Tokyo-Delhi-Tokyo trip, the starting price will be JPY 90,099 ( around ₹59,499.65). Bookings For Delhi-Tokyo Direct Vistara Flights Now Open
The Vistara website states, “We are excited to spread the new feeling to Tokyo, with direct flights from Delhi starting 16-June-2021. The round-trip all-inclusive fares for Delhi-Tokyo-Delhi start at INR 45,049 and round-trip all-inclusive fares for Tokyo-Delhi-Tokyo start at JPY 90,099.” Vistara will be operating out of Tokyo’s Haneda Airport. Flights And Their Operational Timings
In the second week of May 2021, Japan had banned flights from 153 countries including India due to the alarming spread of COVID-19. If the bans are lifted, the flights between India and Japan will operate under an air bubble arrangement. Delhi-Tokyo Flight UK083 will depart at 3 AM and arrive in Japan at 2:50 PM, every Wednesday. Tokyo-Delhi flight UK084 will depart at 5:50 PM and reach Delhi at 11:35 PM every Thursday. The airline has stated that it will follow world-class sanitisation practices as laid down by WHO and local government authorities for the safety of the passengers.
