Meet Arif Mudgal, a 32-year-old man living in the city who is now working hard to fix the issues of potholes and road infrastructure. And to reach his goals, he has already taken a loan of ₹2.7 lakh. This money is certainly not enough to work on something like improving a road.

Arif is not the only one who is fighting for this cause. In fact, Arif opened a group with some more people about 5 years ago to start working on their plans. They started ‘Citizens Group, East Bengaluru’ and later Arif also took a loan of ₹2.7 lakh after some time. People associated with this group recently contributed money so that they can work on improving road conditions and fixing potholes. They are working on a stretch in Choodasandra, Halanayakanahalli, and Muneshwara Layout, according to a report by The Times of India.

Arif shared how two recent accidents on Hosa Road prompted him to take responsibility and start fixing the potholes on the road. He saw one of his neighbours and a delivery guy facing injuries while travelling on this road. He felt disheartened and sad after seeing people facing such troubles on the Hosa Road area in the city and this led him to stand up and take some actions to improve the road conditions.
