While Varanasi houses Kashi Dham Museum, Sarnath Museum and more, this will be a grand addition to the city’s thriving museum circuit. UP Tourism Deputy Director Priti Srivastava revealed to TOI that this heritage museum shall offer visitors a chance to step into the historical city of Kashi and immerse in its rich culture and tradition.

This museum will also use modern technology to give visitors a unique visual experience. You can expect a special audio-visual section to take you back in time. This is apart from the relics and old documents displayed in all their glory. Moreover, reports suggest this heritage museum will be built in a redeveloped antique mansion in Varanasi. If all goes well, the museum will be ready for the public by 2023.
