1. Khadpe’s

Khadpe’s, Prabhadevi’s hidden gem, serves you with the most authentic Malvani meals and is definitely a treat for your taste buds. We gave the Fish Thali (₹330) at this joint a try and we only have good things to say about it. The thali consists of fried Pomfret, Sol kadi, rice, 2 types of fish curry, sukha javla Kkismur, and bhakri/vade/chapati. You can choose to replace the Pomfret with Bangda, Surmai, Bombil, Prawns, Mandeli. Tisrya, Crab or Shark Fry.

2. Highway Gomantak

Highway Gomantak, started 26 years ago, is a little restaurant with basic interiors but with extremely delicious seafood. We tried the Special Fish Thali (₹450) and it didn’t fail us. It is Bangda fry with Pomfret curry is served with chapatti, rice & accompaniments. The tasteful blend of flavors in this thali will leave you with wanting more of it. Let’s not forget to mention how delicious the prawns masala curry tasted.

3. Purepur Kolhapur

Sadichha, a small joint located in Bandra, serves you with the most authentic and lip-smacking Maharashtrian dishes. One of the most highly recommended dish is the prawns thali. It comprises of prawns curry, sukke prawns, white rice, two chapattis and a dal. Apart from the prawns thali you can also go for the  surmai thali, which has a large piece of fried Surmai and an insanely delicious fish curry.

5. Achrekar’s Malvan Katta

Archrekar’s Malvan Katta, a seafood lovers favourite joint, is known for its crispy Surmai Masala. You haven’t gone to a Maharashtrian joint if you haven’t eaten their spicy Sol Kadi and the Sol Kadi over here is to die for. While you are there, do try their crispy fish fry.
